Lynda has designed and produced a colourful collection of hand tufted contemporary rugs. These rugs are created from ideas that are based on original artwork which she produces in the studio.

Lynda's work is inspired by a variety of subjects and themes, most often her everyday experiences of houses, interiors, nature, global culture, representations of the way we live. Familiar objects are given unfamiliar dimensions. Her personal involvement allows the creative force of her subconscious to widen our awareness. Her emotional involvement is expressed through deep strong colour with rich generous texture.

Rugs need the right colours, textures and design balances to make people comfortable and to integrate all the components of a room.

Lynda believes in drawing on colour in nature and translating these colour themes into rugs. Nature has its own way of tempering colour to convey emotion. Lynda believes that replicating this philosophy into the home will create comfort and well-being.

Having set up her studio in 2004 at Cockpit Arts in London, with the help of a Cockpit Arts Seedbed Award, Lynda has seen her work gain rapid popularity.
